I needed a place to jot down thoughts on politics, faith, family, and life. Each or at least most intended posts are drafts for a book of essays I expect to put together in the future to pass on to my children and grandchildren.
Obviously, in retrospect, I haven’t kept up with it.
I am a 78 year old guy (born in the same month as Trump); married for 51 years with 3 grown daughters.
I taught public high school history and psychology (and started my own school which lasted for a brief two years) all during 1967-1984.
I worked as a customer training manager for a semiconductor equipment supplier during 1984-1992.
I worked as a train-the-trainer workshop leader and private consultant, helping over 1600 people in more than 16 countries, mainly in the semiconductor manufacturing world. That was during 1992-2018. I’m mainly retired from that, but this gives you an idea of what THAT was about.
I have a life-long interest in the mystery book genre and have been a participant with my local library’s mystery book club since about 2003. More here.
I also enjoy traveling with my wife Ruth… traveling by rail is a favorite thing. Below, our 50th anniversary selfie at The Lake Hotel in Killarney, Ireland.
